1: Is this portal free or on payment?
The e-resources are free to use, for our user teachers. If you are a teacher who uses S Chand school books, you should register and log in to be able to use these free e-resources.
2: What are the steps to register in the portal?
Step 1 : As a new user, click on the ‘Login’ button on the top right corner. Now click on ‘Sign-up Now!’.
Step 2 : Fill in the details in the registration form and click ‘Submit’
3: How long does the Sign-Up process take?
Once you submit your registration by signing up, we will verify the same and notify you via email. The email will contain your login and password details. This process usually takes just 24 hours depending on the number of user registration requests received.
4: Can I login without OTP?
No, you cannot login without the OTP. Hence, we recommend that you provide the correct mobile number while filling up the registration form.
5: Once I have registered, can I access all the books on the portal?
Once you have registered, you will be able to view all the books available on the portal. You then have to request assets for the S Chand books you are using.

7: I have placed a request using “Request all assets’ button; when will I be able to access the assets?
It generally takes 24-48 business hours for us to approve your request to use e-resources.
8: Do I need to install any software to be able to use the portal?
No, you do not need to install any software. You just need to have a pre-installed web browser and an Internet connection.
9: Can I use this portal on my mobile phone?
Yes, you can use this portal on your mobile phone. However, for better user experience of resources such as flipbooks and animations, we recommend using a larger screen such as a laptop, desktop or a tablet.
10: I am a user of S Chand’s book but my request for e-resources has been rejected. I am not clear why?
While rejecting a request, we email you a valid reason for rejection. In case you find some discrepancy, please write to us at [email protected] and we will look into it on priority.
11: Can I use this portal simultaneously for online and in-class sessions?
Yes, the portal can be simultaneously used for both online and in-class sessions.
12: Can the portal be used with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom etc?
Yes, the portal can be used with these platforms by logging into the portal and using the screenshare functionality.
13: What is the myStudygear App?
myStudygear is a QR code-based app created by S Chand to host animations, interactivities, games etc with a large number of our school books. The app can be easily downloaded from the ‘myStudygear tab’ on the portal.
14: Are all books available on myStudygear app?
For now, selected books can be accessed on the myStudygear app. Content for more books will be available soon.
15: Are there any free material accessible to non-user schools/teachers?
Yes, you can find details of our products and free sample downloads, including brochures, sample videos, flyer, catalogues, pricelist etc. Just click on the ‘Demo section’ on the Home page to navigate to the demo page.
